With the new album coming out and being a huge fan of the late night set of the Keller William's Trio from High Sierra my questions pertains to you, Tye North and Dave Watts.  How did all come about?      I WANTED TO DO A TRIO ALBUM AND I WANTED TO USE WHO I THOUGHT WERE THE HOTTEST RHYTHM SECTION WITHIN MY REACH.

Did you choose these guys or was it more like you talked about playing with other musicians and some outside source like SCI Fidelity said "Well here, play with these guys"  NO, IT WAS COMPLETELY MY CHOICE

Are the three of you planning on doing a tour to support the new release? NO, I WILL BE DOING ALL THE TOURING SOLO

Did you find playing with other musicians limited your ability to create and flow like you do while by yourself?  YES, BEING COMFORTABLE WITH AN ENSEMBLE TAKES MONTHS OF PRACTICE AND PERFORMING TOGETHER, (WHICH WE HAD NONE OF) THEREFORE IT LIMITS THE COMFORT LEVEL AND INHIBITS THE FLOW...

First off I want to thank you for the Michael Franti and Tenacious D covers I have been listening to both those albums for weeks when you pulled them out in A-town. My only question is what do you think of The D?, And would there ever be a possibility of a tour with JB and KG? Again thank you for the energy you put in each show it shows that you are an accomplished musician and your shows leave me smiling for weeks in their aftermath. Keep the faith my brother! I do not want to sound like too much of a "Freek" but my questions have to do with a specific show. I do realize you may have no idea but I wanted to give it a try. Last October I saw my first Keller only show at Lehigh University, Lamberton Hall. I was amazed before it even started because it was such an intimate show. I went right up to the front of the stage to claim that spot. The show was amazing. I loved ever minute of it. After the show I waited around to see if I could meet you. Then I went outside to have a smoke and saw you up in the window. I yelled up to and got your attention and asked if I could meet you. You said sure come on in. I went back inside and you came out of the room you were in. I was so pumped! I asked you some questions about the So Many Roads Tour and told you how much I loved your music etc. My friend asked you some stuff. I also had some ticket stubs that I had someone make for you to autograph. I think I had about 12 and you signed! all of them. I also got a couple pics with you. You took the one of just you and me that came out awesome. My question is: Do you remember me or recall anything about that night? if so what?   I REMEMBER YOU BEING COOL AND EXCITED!

I'm getting really excited for the upcoming tour.  The Santa Barbara freaks have already gobbled up all of the SCI tickets for the show and I'm trying not to freak out too hard about the Fillmore show.  We really wanted to do another Clos Pepe party, but March means rain (which means no parking).  Hopefully next year or sometime in the future when the weather is nicer.  Hugs and safe travels to you, Emily, Lou and the puppies! KW, when are you going to come to Europe?   I DON'T KNOW, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GO THERE FOR YEARS, IT APPEARS TO BE A VICIOUS CYCLE FOR AMERICANS TO TOUR THERE AND HAVE IT MAKE ANY SENSE.  WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS....YOU CAN'T REALLY TOUR EUROPE WITHOUT RECORD DISTRIBUTION AND YOU CAN'T GET RECORD DISTRIBUTION WITHOUT TOURING.  OF COURSE, ANYONE COULD GO THERE AND JUST PLAY ON THE STREET OR GO TO OPEN MICS, OR JUST MOVE THERE AND TRY TO PLAY THE LOCAL PUB.   BUT I WANT TO WAIT UNTIL I CAN DO IT RIGHT, AND HAVE IT MAKE SENSE.

I saw you about a year ago in Santa Fe.  There was not a big turn out and I was a little disappointed about that.  Do you have plans to return to New Mexico sometime?  I really hope so, cause I really dig your music.
