KW with Moseley, Droll & Sipe to Play at ROTHBURY

On July 4th weekend 2008, ROTHBURY emerges as a new American celebration. For this next generation of the rock and roll music festival, ROTHBURY sets forth as a huge party with a purpose. Hosted at the one-of-a-kind Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan, the unique festival site offers trails, forests, fields, lakes and beach fronts, and even on-site lodging, bars and eateries. The four day, environmentally sustainable music and camping festival promises to be an inspiring cultural assembly; one where music fans, artists and progressive thinkers gather to celebrate much more than music.

The live music community thrives on that perfect live musical moment, when an individual experience transcends into the collective. ROTHBURY is a true celebration of such moments, and all of the abilities, illuminations, and freedoms of expression that go into creating them. It is ROTHBURY’s goal to harness the unique energy of the live music community into a durable social movement toward an important cause: Climate Change and Clean Energy Alternatives. In addition to a diverse and stellar lineup of over 70 bands on 8 stages, ROTHBURY will host a Think Tank and Energy Fair, and features unprecedented audience participation opportunities.

Music is the soul of ROTHBURY, which today makes its initial artist line-up announcement. Confirmed musical acts include Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, John Mayer, 311, Phil Lesh and Friends, Modest Mouse, Primus, Snoop Dogg, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Thievery Corporation, STS9 and many others.

Keller Announces the Release of his New Album, 12.

Twelfth album. Twelve songs. Get it in the twelfth month.
Keller’s twelfth album release, available beginning December 18, 2007 on SCI Fidelity Records, looks back at 20 years of making music. Aptly titled 12, the album features one standout song from each of his previous eleven releases. Added to the mix is one new, previously un-recorded song. Keller himself dubs this his album of “hitless greatest hits.” While the Keller Williams adventure has only just begun, 12 is a fantastic celebration of a musical milestone.

KW / Bob Weir & RatDog to Tour This Summer

Bob Weir and RatDog and Keller Williams will cross the country this summer, sharing a stage both separately and together, making music and doing what they do best. The tour will begin in Atlanta on July 7th and end in Los Angeles on July 28th.
Check out the tune “Cadillac” on Keller’s recently released, dream, a duet between Keller and Bob. Recorded at Weir’s home studio, it also features an appearance from Weir family retainer Jackson (see the tour advertising design and notice who’s driving the Cadillac!). Or, as the inimitable Weir said of him, “Keller Williams is more fun than a frog in a glass of milk.” Keller seems to like the idea, too: “I love this tour because I get to get in for free.” That positive vibe will be felt across the country this summer!
